Of course, one of the wishes that periodically keeps popping up for the both of us is to woohoo each other's brains out. Hey it's fun and it's exercise too. Anyways, River was more than happy to take me up on the offer.
...and Sally emerged from the fight at the bar victorious over the little mutt that started it all. Good girl, Sally, now back to finding precious metals and gemstones.
Sally, on the other hand, got around everywhere on her legs. She was busy doing a lot of work...trying to track down those gems that allowed us to get a financial foothold.
River also had a lifetime wish to have a soak in a tub. Luckily we had thought to put in a tub in our upstairs bathroom so she was able to fulfill that wish...plus being able to soak in e tub relaxed tense muscles.
You know, the days blended into each other...and well, we tried to make sure that our financial situation looked up. Things were coming together in terms of selling gemstones and our bank account was steadily growing. There were a lot of things to do; tending the cows and chickens, eating, gardening and sleeping. Sally went off a long ways to go hunting for gemstones, space rocks and precious metals.
River worked on her painting skill since she was considering going self-employed as a painter and since my garden was pretty small at this stage, I did whatever I could to figure out certain things, like upping my logic skill at the potion table. Needless to say I made a few fissile combinations which pretty much necessitated my taking a shower to get the stink off me. Luckily I wasn't dabbling in molecular chemistry.
Sally did her part as part of the family and she was pretty much the go-to dog with regards to finding stuff that we could sell for a substantial profit. Yup...there were lots of things to do and we kept building on to our house as well when we could afford to. River and I didn't go out much to dinner; we were too focused on developing a sound financial foundation before we started spending money for luxury items. After all, if one wasn't careful, it could all go poof, just as quickly as we made it. So we cooked at home with ingredients that we grew at home and tried to keep costs down as much as possible.
Of course there was always time for each other. And River and I definitely took advantage of those times...
We were both busy and sometimes a little "us-time" was necessary to really relax and enjoy ourselves.
